Bedroom Voice

I used to ROCK OUT to this song in elementary school. I had the 45 record and would play it all day long. I knew every word.

I laugh, thinking about it now, because of this line:

He tells me in his bedroom voice,

“Come on, honey. Let’s go make some noise.”

I’m pretty sure at that point in my life I thought a “bedroom voice” meant a quite voice that didn’t wake anyone up from a nap.

God bless my little naive self.
