Reading Activity of the week: St. Patrick’s Day!

This week at the library we’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day!  There’s so much fun to be had with this theme.

For the little ones, I’m reading St. Patrick’s Day Countdown.  It’s a really cute counting book!

For the older kids, I’ll be reading Emeraldalicious.  I loved going with the green theme.  (Plus I love the Pinkalicious books!)

At the craft table, I’ve got a fun hat craft.  The kids look so cute sporting these!

And at playgroup, we’ll be painting with green peppers to make shamrocks!

I love that you can take something as ordinary as a pepper and use it to make fun art!

I’d love for you to follow me on Pinterest–click here to make that happen.  I’m always happy to add new friends!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I can’t believe it never occurred to me that a pepper would make a shamrock print – I am duly impressed.

We love the Pinkalicious books, too! We took our Kidzilla to see the Pinkalicious musicial several weeks ago. That very morning a sneaky little fairy left a copy of Emeraldalicious on her dresser to celebrate her first trip to a musical play. It was a great day. :)
